ground rules

rules for training at the Softball grounds, Preston Rd, Belmont

1. All dogs must be on a leash unless approved by an instructor.
2. No dogs/handlers on the cricket pitch
3. All faeces anywhere on the grounds must be picked up by the handler and placed in an appropriate receptacle
4. We reserve the right for the dog to be muzzled
5. No bitches in heat on the grounds
6. You must not go on any of the contact equipment unless accompanied by an instructor. Other equipment may be used at the discretion of the Chief Instructor.
7. No collars, other than fixed, may remain on the dog whilst using agility equipment
8. All handlers to help put up and clear away equipment
9. Dogs under 18 months obstacle/jump training to be at the discretion of the Chief Instructor
10. No dogs to be taken into the toilets or clubhouse
11. All handlers are responsible for their own dog(s)
12. Children to be supervised at all times
13. No drinking of alcohol on grounds during training
14. No glass on grounds
15. Suitable footwear to be worn while training - no thongs/sandals
16. Harsh handling will not be tolerated
